I am Professor and Curator of Herpetology collection of São Paulo State University in the Institute of Biosciences of Coastal Campus, City of São Vicente, State of São Paulo, Brazil. Professor of Graduate courses in Biodiversity of Coastal Enviroment (PPGBAC, IB/CLP) and in Zoology (PPGZoo, IBB), both at UNESP. I completed my Ph.D. in 2012 and received a Post-doctoral fellowship until 2015 (advisor: José P. Pombal Jr.), both in Zoology, at National Museum/Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (MNRJ). My main interest is the evolution of amphibian diversity, with "reptiles" being a secondary objective.

Main Project: DARC - Multidisciplinary Studies of the Diversity of Brazilian Amphibians and Reptiles, and their Influence on Conservation.
